Abstract

The values of Flash Elecrely on principles ofpassion for customer service, respect across all internal and external stakeholders, integrity for ensuring that commitments are met, innovation for better results which would be their unique selling proposition, delivery with positive outlook to foster lasting customer relations and empowerment to make the company a truly successful one for every employee. FlashElec values the range of opinions, backgrounds and experiences as they strongly believe that diversity leads to better decision making, innovation and creativity. This in turn enables to create the capacity for internal and external stakeholders to succeed and satisfy customer needs and employees aspirations. Their Human Resource department demonstrates some key HRM practices like selective hiring to bring in employees who add value, fostering self-learning within teams for achievement of common objective andfollowing a flat and egalitarian organizational structure. The HR is clear on the abilities of employees and continuously endeavour to make a better assessment of the variables in employee statistics and ensuring their quality of work - life is balanced. This Case Study strives to create a benchmark to other organizations around the globe for implementing a suitable methodology for employee development which not only makes employees passionate for their work but also fulfils the organization’s needs. There is an imperative need for Organizations to mutually understand the career path and viewpoints of employees to maintain the strategic goals and objectives along with addressing issues hindering the growth as demonstrated in this case study.
