This study inspected the effect of the coronavirus epidemic on university students’ mental health as a result of increased worry and stress from online lectures—the sample for the study comprised 152 students from different universities of Kolkata. The information was gathered via a web survey and evaluated using multiple regression analysis to identify the importance of each variable. The findings implied that the independent variable (stress disorders) has a severe impact on the psychology of university students. After analysis, the data reflects that the female respondents in the age group of 25 to 35 are highly affected due to the spread of the pandemic. According to the existing pandemic condition, the overall findings have implicataions for educational institutions to adopt certain future tactics to make online teaching and learning methods more engaging to university students.
