With the increasing reliance on digital communication and data storage, the need for secure encryption and decryption techniques has become paramount. This abstract presents a study on the application of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 128-bit key algorithm for the encryption and decryption of both images and text. AES is a widely adopted symmetric encryption algorithm known for its robust security and efficiency. The key length of 128 bits ensures a large key space, making brute-force attacks computationally infeasible. In this study, we propose a methodology for encrypting and decrypting both images and text using AES with a 128-bit key algorithm.
