Abstract

Organisation culture has attained the shape of a critical lever in the success chain for the organisations. Appraisal of culture through the eyes of its own employees enables the organisation to consolidate the strengths and overcome the weaknesses. The present study tests the variations in the perception of employees at different demographics levels towards organisation culture measured by eight dimensions of OCTAPACE and the study has tried to identify whether the employees are adaptive to the organisation culture. Analysis of data collected from 510 employees indicated that significant differences exist in the culture of the organisations in different sectors and also significant differences exist across different demographic dimensions. Data is analyzed with the help of cross tab and statistical tools like means, t-test andANOVA.
