The aim of this research work is to explore the possibilities to propose a development design of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) model to consider critical issues which have deep influence on successful ERP implementation at Delhi MCD in view of ERP experts. Result of this study suggests that MCD officials prepare themselves for challenges and requirements in advance to promote best practices before starting the ERP implementation initiative in MCD. Therefore, in this research paper, we propose ERP reference model to provide guidance for successful ERP implementation in-order to evade ERP failure at MCD Delhi.
