Abstract

The present investigations were carried out to evaluate performance of three genotypes of china aster (Phule Ganesh Violet, Phule Ganesh Purple, Phule Ganesh Pink), planted at different geometry (30 cm x 30 cm, 40 cmx 40 cm,50 cm x 50 cm) ina randomized block design. Results indicate that all vegetative and floral traits were significantly influenced by treatment variables. Phule Ganesh Pink recorded higher flower yield i.e. 126.23 g/plant which differed significantly from Phule Ganesh Purple and Phule Ganesh Violet. Flower yield component like number of flowers was significantly higher in Phule Ganesh Pink compared to other genotypes but number of flowers per plant and number of flowers per 100 g were significantly higher in Phule Ganesh Violet. Among planting geometries, 50 cm x 50 cm recorded significantly highest flower yield (109 g/plant).
