Abstract

Smart grid and smart metering coupled with data analytics provide chance to extract meaningful information from raw data which are often not only voluminous but also continuous and ever increasing in course of time. Filtering out data from the like flowing rivers is a business need these days to both the utility as well as customers. This paper briefly attempted to address some aspects of data analytics and contemporary use of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques which are convenient for easy data visualisation as well as further processing for bigger use.
