Abstract

The present investigation was planned to eradicate Leucaena leucocephala (Lamk.) De Wit. with the help of established growth inhibitor “Coumarin”(COU) at 50, 100, 200 and 500 ppm concentrations However, the results were intriguing as coumarin failed to inhibit the seedling growth of L. leucocephala, upto 200 ppm, though finally it inhibited at 500 ppm concentration in some cultivars out of eleven cultivars studied.
