Spigelia Anthelmia L. (Spigeliaceae): A New Generic Record to The Flora of Rajasthan

The genus Spigelia L. of family Spigeliaceae, so far not reported from Rajasthan. This genus is first time collected from Arampuraa and Lara villages situated in sitamata wild life sanctuary of district Pratapgarh, Rajasthan. The detail description, up to date nomenclature, time of flowering-fruiting, ecological notes and illustrations of this species have been presented.
