Physico-chemical analysis of four seasonal and perennial water bodies of eastern and western Patna were carried out during the period, March 2002 to February 2003. The water bodies exhibit narrow fluctuations in temperature, pH, carbonate bicarbonate, contents and nutrients like nitrate, phosphate, chloride, calcium and sulphate but a considerable variation in D.O. level.
