In the present investigation an attempt was made towards association of fungal colonies with herbarium sheets. Deterioration of herbarium sheets by fungal colonies was noticed. Twenty six fungal species were isolated from the herbarium sheets and identified. Genus Aspergillus was reported as adominated fungus.
