Five partially tolerant and five non-tolerant accessions of barley for cadmium and hexavalent chromium in combination were analyzed in detail for Cd2++Cr6+ induced changes in the course of male meiosis. These two heavy metals in combination disturbed both first as well as second meiotic divisions inducing various kind of anomalies.
