Seasonal Variations in water and Sediment Dynamics in the Mangrove Wetlands of kandaleru Creek, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh, South Coast

Seasonal variations in physico-chemical characteristics of water and sediment in the Kandaleru mangrove ecosystem in Nellore district was carried out during 2013. Statistical analysis of the data showed that except surface water temperature, Zn and Cu, all other variables were affected by seasons. Except pH and salinity the other variables were not affected among the three habitats. Correlation of coefficient between several pairs of variables showed high degree of correlation.
