Taxonomic survey of Diatom of the river Bhadra is carried out between B.R. Project and Kudli which is confluence point of river Bhadra with Tunga. A total of 31 taxa which belong to 12 genera are collected and identified. The centric diatoms consist of species of Melosira(1) and Cyclotella(6). The pennales diatoms include the species of Synedra(2), Eunotia(2), Diploneis(3), Navicula(4), Pinnularia(5), Cymbella(1), Pleurosigma(1), Hantzschia(1), Gomphonema(2), Surirella(3). The systematic with ecological description are given. The morphological features with artificial key are appended.
