Abstract

This article is an attempt to select a banana verity suitable for diabetic patients. For this purpose seven banana varities were used and Kaveri, a varity available in Kerala suggested for Diabetic patients, and also it is observed that Nendran varieties, Robusta, Palayankodan and Red Kappa were suitable for child, Robusta, Palayankodan, Red Kappa and Nendrakaya were suitable for aged group.
