Azadirachta indica seeds were germinated in soil and on 3rd day after radicle emergence, equal sized seedlings were transferred in 1: 10, 1: 20 and 1: 50 dilution of P.hysterophorous root extract added soil and control which was treated with distilled water. After 7 days of seedlings growth in different dilutions of Parthenium root extract added soil and control, different physicochemical analyses were carried out. A. indica seedlings grew well under high concentration of Parthenium root extract added soil. Maximum nitrogen and protein were recorded in all parts of seedlings raised in 1: 10 Parthenium root extract added soil. Leaves of seedling under in 1: 20 dilution of Parthenium root extract underwent lowering of reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar and total sugar with high amylase and peroxidase activity. A. indica seedlings grow well on the nitrogenons leachates of P. hysterophorous root extract. Thus, in biochemical terms overall growth and metabolism of A. indica seedlings was supported by P. hysterophorous.
