Rare and threatened medicinal plants of todgarh-raoli wild life sanctuary Rajasthan, India

The present paper deals with 21 rare and threatened medicinal plants of Todgarh-Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary, Rajasthan. This is fortunately a cradle of traditional medicinal plants. A considerable amount of oral information on medicinal properties of plant is available with rural and tribal communities of this Sanctuary. In the present paper an attempt has been made to document and acknowledge 21 rare and threatened medicinal plants of the Sanctuary. Out of these 10 plants are rare in occurrence and the threatened categories embodies near threatened 04, vulnerable 04 medicinal plants species and their present status. All these plants need their urgent conservations. Local conservational strategies are also discussed in this paper.
