The paper provides an account of 12 species of family Convolvulaceae viz., Argyria nervosa, Evolvulus alsinoides, lpomoea obscura, lpomoea aquatica, lpomoea batatas, lpomoea cairica, lpomoea eriocarpa, lpomoea carnea, lpomoea nil, lpomoea pestigridis, lpomoea quamoclit and Porana paniculata found in the Eastern Uttar Pradesh which are of medicinal use. Nomenelature, Vernacular name(s), phenological data and medicinaluses of these species are provided.
