Image Mining using Information Driven Framework and Technique

An increase in image acquisition and storage technology has led to huge growth drastically large and detailed image databases. These images, if analyzed, can disclose practical information to the human users. Image mining absolutely extracts implicit knowledge, image data relationship, or other patterns not explicitly stored in the images. Image mining is an extension of data mining to image domain. Although the development of many applications and algorithms in the individual research in image mining is still in its early stages. In this paper, we will examine the research problems in image mining, current developments in image mining, particularly, image mining frameworks, high-tech techniques and systems.
