Abstract

Key Authentication forms the basis for security and survival of public key cryptosystem. The key authentication scheme proposed by Lee et al., Applied mathematics and computation 139 (2003) 343349 has some serious security problems and has low performance in calculation of certificate. To overcome the problems of the LHL-scheme, we developed a new key authentication system. Our scheme enhances the security in certificate generation and achieves major security services. This scheme also generates the certificate in reduces number of iterations.
