Nanonetworks are the enabling technology for Long-Awaited applications in the biomedical, industrial and military fields. To construct an energy efficient communication technique, a new modulation and a novel minimum energy coding scheme (MEC) are proposed to achieve energy efficiency in wireless nanosensor networks (WNSNs). This technology maintains the code distance to provide reliability while minimizing energy. Simulation results will show that, the proposed MEC code will be superior to popular block codes such as Hamming, Reed Solomon and Golay. Different modulation technique like Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK), Frequency Shift Keying (FSK), On-Off Keying (OOK) has been used for comparison. We get best result with On-Off Keying (OOK) modulation technique.
