Abstract

The confluence of internet, information technology and communication combining with recent engineering advancements are making way for the new generation of sensors forming a wireless sensor network which are capable of attaining a high order of accuracy and temporal resolution. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consists of resource constrained autonomous sensor which are spatially distributed to detect or monitor physical condition like sound, temperature, etc. This paper aims to compare and analyze Fisheye State Routing protocol (FSR), LANMAR and STAR routing protocol on Qualnet Simulator parameters like throughput, delay and jitter. The result discussed can be helpful while choosing particular routing protocol for WSN in certain environmental condition. The simulation has been carried out in Qualnet simulator 7.1.
