The activity of alkaline phosphatase in the surface epithelium of ileal PP was more marked in one week old pups. In the dogs aged one month and older, the activity was also present within the follicles. The acid phosphatase activity was present in the surface epithelium of ileum in one week old pups and interfollicular area of PP in older dogs.
