To determine the seroprevalence of bovine viral diarrhea viral (BVDV) infection in cattle and buffaloes of Agra region of Uttar Pradesh, a total 401 serum samples collected from organized and unorganized dairy herds were screened. A blocking ELISA procedure was used and 13.82% of cattle and 12.5% of buffaloes of different age group belonging to both sexes were found positive respectively for the BVDV antibodies.
