Abstract

The current study deals with the characterisation of Pasteurella multocida isolated from the oedema fluid of a buffalo. After phenotypic characterisation, the isolate was subjected to Pasteurella multocida species specific polymerase chain reaction. The capsular and virulencgene typing of the isolate was also done by Polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
