The present study was carried out to evaluate the pathomorphological changes in lung tissues of the goats collected from a slaughter house in Bareilly region, Uttar Pradesh. Grossly, the lungs of some animals showed congestion, emphysema, calcified hard masses and oedematous lesions. Histopathological examination revealed congestion along with peribrochiolar infiltration, bullae formation, thickened interstitial septae containing giant cells and edematous fluid in lung alveolar spaces with inflammatory cells. The emphysema leads to the formation of large abnormal air spaces accomplished by destruction of alveolar walls.
