Localization and histomorphology of gut associated lymphoid tissue (GALT) in young dogs

GALT in two month old pups was represented hy DPPs, CPP and SLNs. While DPPs and CPP were spread over small intestines, SLNs were distrihuted over all the segments of large intestine. The DPPs were localized mainly opposite to the mesenteric allachment and increased in size cranicocaudally. A single long hand like CPP was present in the tenninal part of the ileum. Some follicles of DPPs and CPP had dome villi covered with special FAE devoid of gohlet cells. The SLNs lacked dome villi hut posse sed lymphoglandular complexes in all the segments of large intestine.
