Decreased levels of serum immunoglobulin were observed in Polyslichum squarrosum fern fed calves. Similarly, skin lhickness and intlammatory reaction of DNCB test in lhe skin of fern fed calves was slightly reduced as compared to controls. This indicates reduced humoral and cell-mediated immune response in fern fed calves in compariosn to controls.
