A male Labrador dog, 10 years old, was presented for post-mortem examination at the Department of Veterinary Pathology DUVASU, Mathura. The dog had a previous history of vomiting, anorexia, urine retention, and splenomegaly according to clinical and ultrasonographic examination. The necropsy examination revealed pooling of blood in the abdominal cavity, marked splenomegaly with dark-colored 2 to 3 nodules, and multiple nodules on other visceral organs. Histopathological examination of the splenic tissue sections revealed hemangiosarcoma.
