T-Iymphocytes are the main components of cell mediated immunity (CMI). Immuplus, a herbal preparation was given to growing chicks in drinking water and its effect on CMI was studied. The CMI responses were evaluated by lymphocytes stimulation test (LST). Delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH) reaction was observed using dinitrochlorobenzene as allergen. It was observed that Immuplus significantly augmented the CMI in treated group of birds.
