Osteoarthritis is disease of old age and is diagnosed on the basis of radiologically & clinically proven osteoartheritis patients. Still exact mechanism of inflammation of joint in osteoarthritis is still obscure to access it. Present study of immunochemical involvement has been done. To investigate it possible cytokines role of TNF-α with other have been studied. As an immunological marker in osteoartheritis patients. The total 40 subject age & sex matched (20 osteoarthritis patients and 20 normal healthy control subject) are included in (n=40) our study from age group of 40‒60. It is observed that the level of TNF-α is significantly increased (P<0.001) in osteoartheritis patients as compared with normal healthy control groups.
