Gross biometrical observation were made on developing spleen of 75 developing Guinea fowls at 7 day interval from day 1 to day 63 of life. The spleen weighed 0.023, 0.208, 0.720 gm at age of 1, 35 and 63 days of development respectively. The percent increment in the weight of spleen was 34.78, 57.57and 30.90 per cent during 1 to 7, 29 to 35, and 57 to 63 days of age, respectively. The spleen constituted 0.096, 0.098 and 0.125 per cent of body weight on 1st, 35th and 63rd days respectively The diameter of spleen was recorded to be 0.27, 0.69 and 0.95 cm on 1st, 35th and 63rd of observation. Increment in the splenic diameter during 1 to 7, 29 to 35 and 57 to 63 days of development was 14.80, 56.81 and 4.39 per cent, respectively.
