Haematological study was performed in Kadaknath fowl of 1-week, 3-week, 6-week, 9-week and 26week age irrespective of sex. Blood samples were analyzed for hematological parameters like TLC, DLC, ALC, AHC, AMC, Hb, PCV, TEC, MCV, MCH and MCHC. The TLC exhibited a continuous rising trend through the study period with a maximum value at 26th week of life. The DLC of various leukocytic species did not exhibit any significant change through out the entire period of study. An increase in the erythrocyte number with the age was evident. Aging revealed an initial decrease followed by a terminal escalation in Hb concentration and PCV values, while gradual decrease in MCH, MCV and MCHC values was reported.
