Quality Gauging: An Analytical Analysis of Tourism Websites using E-SQ

Abstract

With radical and incremental innovations, travel websites have also embraced the strategy of Web 2.0 , which has been widely adopted by the tourism industry. Web 2.0 and information technology (IT) have garnered the attention of marketers, who have recognized and accepted the prevailing marketing strategy development model. Web 2.0 technologies have integrated the features of convergence media, such as text, pictures, sounds, and videos, breaking traditional marketing boundaries and gaining popularity among marketers. This study aims to explore the centralized model of websites with a single customer contact point and examine how electronic marketing and the business environment address customer needs using electronic service quality (e-SQ).
