Abstract

This study investigates the perceptions of PhD scholars and faculty at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) regarding print and e-journals. It explores awareness, preferences, and reasons for using both journal formats. The literature review highlights growing trend towards greater use of e-journals. A structured questionnaire was distributed to 100 PhD scholars and faculty members at CCSHAU. The findings reveal a strong awareness of both print and e-journals, with a slight preference for e-journals due to features such as 24/7 accessibility and ease of use. Print journals are favored for comfortable reading. Internet sources play a significant role in raising awareness. The paper provides valuable insights into journal format preferences among the academic community at CCSHAU.
