Abstract

This bibliometric study uses VOSviewer and Biblioshiny in R-Studio to analyse the metadata of 5,885 journal articles indexed in Web of Science between 2015 and 2024 in order to investigate research productivity in the field of data mining. The study uses a thorough bibliometric approach that includes performance of publications, co-occurrences of keywords, co-authorship analysis and co-citation analysis. The results highlight important authors, organisations, nations and research topics, offering insights into the worldwide data mining research scene. This study advances knowledge of data mining trends and research productivity, guiding future partnerships and research avenues.
