Citations Analysis of Research Publication of UNESWA IR: A Case Study of the Faculty of Agriculture

Citations analysis of the research publication submitted to the University of Eswatini Institutional repository by the Faculty of Agriculture is carried out. Data are analysed for finding possible relationships between citing, citing articles and bibliographic forms. The reference lists of 43 research publications from the faculty of agriculture published in different International Journals were analysed. The number of citation taken for the study is 1101. Frequency and percentage distributions are used to analyse data. Findings showed that journals are the most utilised reference materials. This study could serve as a user study with implications for collection development and user services in the library.
