Abstract

As the utility of Internet of Things (IoT) devices escalate in various domains, a parallel need arises for efficient, user-friendly, and secure control mechanisms. One such emerging technology is the Quick Response (QR) code. This research paper discusses the innovative application of QR code technology in controlling motored devices, particularly focusing on an autonomous delivery robot. QR codes, embedded with specific device control information, can offer a simplistic yet robust solution to remotely manage devices. This study delves into the design of a robot capable of traversing diverse terrains, embedding QR code scanning technology for recipient identification, and OTP authentication for secure delivery. Experimental results demonstrate the system's efficacy in ensuring the secure delivery of items, presenting a significant leap in the domain of autonomous delivery robots. The paper suggests potential enhancements to the system, including the incorporation of more sophisticated AI algorithms and biometric authentication.
