Agile software development is a collaboration of various software development methods which aim to achieve optimized solutions with the help of teams which are self-organizing and cross functional in nature. In the practical world, where unpredictability rules; agile approaches help in overcoming the shortcomings of traditional software development methodologies. Agile moves towards adaptive planning, which results in evolutionary development.
