Abstract

Agile software development is a collaboration of various software development methods which aim to achieve optimized solutions with the help of teams which are self-organizing and cross functional in nature. In the practical world, where unpredictability rules; agile approaches help in overcoming the shortcomings of traditional software development methodologies. Agile moves towards adaptive planning, which results in evolutionary development. Other stark features like reduction in delivery time, and flexibility in response to change leading to unremitting improvement have helped business grow in a better way. Still, there are various limitations to this approach also. This paper deals with problems related to agile movement like unsuitability for maintenance and dependency on the user involvement.
