Face Verification Using Deep Learning

Abstract

Face verification actually mean to check whether two face image of human being belong to the same person or not. Face verification is completely different from face recognition and face detection. This is an emerging topic in the various field like computer vision, human computer interaction, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning. Existing Face verification systems used some machine learning technique to extract the feature from an image and that feature can be used to recognize face image of human beings. The mainly descriptive feature like Histogram Oriented Gradient (HOG), Eigenvector, Support Vector Machine (SVM), PCA, LBP etc. which are very commonly used in the area of machine learning to extract the feature from the face image. Thus, understanding face verification is very important to be used in biometric devices for verifying whether two facial images of the human being is exactly matching and belong to the same person.
