Abstract

Networking has been evolving from the flat networks which usually consists of handful of Network Elements to the complex design which consists of more technologies such as remote users, cloud networking, wireless devices, mobile devices, IoT, VPN and many more. Despite of all the complex evolution of Networking has occurred there is always a perpetual need for network element monitoring system. Monitoring the Network Elements would provide the information of Network Elements regularly and admins could know what is going on in their networks. Automation of monitoring network elements would ease the work of admin and network element owners, which would help in monitoring various network elements. This paper proposes an automatic network scanning for monitoring the network elements system, which provides the network elements statistics, various features for the network elements such as license check, software backup, disk free space, command log, OpenStack cloud statistics. The system provides the alert notifications of the network elements to their respective network element owners in the form of mails.
