Abstract

A developing country like India cannot afford to neglect the problem of the people who contribute to its economic growth. Men work to satisfy their needs, and the extent of need satisfaction or need frustration is reflected in their behavior. So the study of job satisfaction is very essential in eveiy industrial activity. How much is the bank employee satisfied with his job is a crucial area to study. The factors that are contributing in bank employee's job satisfaction/dissatisfaction must be known to the top Management of the bank organization so that steps could be taken to maintain a required job satisfaction level in banks. This study has tried to find out the major factors that affect the job satisfaction level of batik employees liberalization period in bank by applying factor analysis on the questionnaire consisting of 22 questions. It can be concluded that Social and Economic Benefits. Interpersonal Skills, Development Program, Organizational Policies, Decision Making Power, Job Benefits and Procurements are the factors which influence job satisfaction of bank employees.
