Abstract

Acceptance sampling plan is one of the powerful statistical tools to improve the quality of industrial products. The selection of sample size and acceptance number of the sampling plans indexed through OC, AOQ, ASN, ATI etc have been studied by many researchers. A new concept of MAAOQ at the inflection point is introduced. The terminologies MAAOQ, MAPD, nMAAOQ and nMAPD are discussed and utilised for the selection of the parameters and parametric conversions. Further, the method of inspecting the produced units and cost function of unique products are studied to bring out the quality outputs.
