Prediction of Concentration of Various Ions and Sodium Adsorption Ratio from Electrical Conductivity for the Well Waters of Western Rajasthan

Certain prediction equations have been evolved for the estimation of the concentration of various ions, total soluble salts and sodium adsorption ratio of some ground waters to serve as alternatives to the usual lengthy methods of analysis. It was seen that electrical conductivity was highly correlated with total soluble salts, chloride, sulphate, bicarbonate, sodium and magnesium as well as sodium adsorption ratio.
