Effect of Different Levels of Nitrogen on the Uptake of N, P and K by Wheat (Sonora-64)

A field experiment was undertaken to study the effect of nitrogen on the uptake of N, P and K by wheat Sonara-64. With increasing levels of nitrogen, the yield and the total uptake of N, P and K increased. The nitrogen concentration in both grain and straw increased but the concentration of P and K decreased with increasing nitrogen levels.
