Abstract

Correlations between P, Fe and Mn availability in water logged soils at different levels of fertility were studied. It has been observed that the available P, Mn++ and Fe++ content of soil increased upto 70 days after transplaning and decreased from 70 to 90 days. Application of fertilizers increased the amount of available soil phosphorus as well as manganese. The availability of iron, however, decreased with increasing fertility levels. Significant positive correlations were recorded between available soil phosphorus and manganese and negative values between phosphorus and iron and also between manganese and iron.
