Abstract

Calcium ammonium nitrate increased wheat yield significantly over urea, ammonium sulphate nitrate and ammonium sulphate. Nitrophosphate gave the lowest yield. Similar trend was observed for the nitrogen percentage in grain. Different methods of application were found effective for three different fertilizers in increasing their efficiency.
