Forms of Phosphorus in Relation to Physico-Chemical Properties in Bangar Soils of Districts Deoria and Gorakhpur in Alluvial Tract of Uttar Pradesh

Bangar soils of districts Deoria and Gorakhpur have fair status of available P. The proportion of Ca-P in these soils is much higher in comparison to other forms of soil P. Saloid bound P represents the adsorbed P and highly significant correlation was observed between saloid bound P and available P. Reductant soluble Fe-P and organic P were significantly positively correlated with pH and organic matter respectively. Significant positive correlations were observed between available P and Al-P, Fe-P, reductant soluble Fe-P and Ca-P
