Abstract

Application of zinc and phosphorus at all the levels increased the grain and straw yield of wheat under field condition. On an average 16 kg Zn/ha and 60 kg P2O5/ha proved as optimum doses. The optimum dose of Zn varied with the level of phosphorus. When P2O5 was applied å 30 kg/ha, 4 kg Zn was the optimum dose while under 60 and 90 kg P2O5/ha, the optimum dose was 8 and 16 kg Zn/ha, respectively. Zinc content of grain and straw increased with an increase in the level of zinc but it decreased as the level of phosphorus increased
