Composite soil samples collected every month during a year from three salt-affected areas were analysed for their pH, available phosphorus, organic matter and moisture contents. Amounts of available phosphorus in these soil profiles were influenced by organic matter, moisture contents and pH of these soils. Available phosphorus contents showed positive significant correlations with soil moisture and pH.
